Project overview

The story at a glance

A rapid website, ticketing and paid-social launch for a World Cup fan zone at Marlow Football Club, followed by 6,000+ ticket sales.

The client approached Front Row Social two weeks before England’s first group-stage match. A full fan-zone launch on a two-week runway

The client approached Front Row Social two weeks before England’s first group-stage match. The event needed a brand, website, ticketing journey, social channels, advertising and content almost immediately.

Within three days, the website, visual identity and social profiles were live. Filming at Marlow Football Club followed, and the first location-led adverts were running one week before the opening match.

The challenge

The deadline was fixed and the event programme depended on England’s progress. New match listings needed to be created quickly while customers required clear ticket information across standard and VIP options.

The early campaign also had to build a local audience from zero.

Our approach

Front Row Social built a flexible event website and connected ticketing process, then created Instagram and Facebook channels in collaboration with Marlow Football Club.

Camera-facing adverts were filmed at the venue to make the campaign feel local and immediate. During the tournament, Front Row Social covered three matches and installed a live goal cam to capture shareable reactions.

Attendance grew from more than 450 at the opening event to 600, 700, 800 and 950 at later matches, reaching around 1,500 for the semi-final.

A reported £3,500 advertising spend delivered an average ticket purchase cost of approximately £3. Social content generated more than 200,000 views and the new channels attracted around 600 to 700 followers within the first fortnight.

Live in three days

The site, branding and social channels were completed within three days of the initial brief, leaving time to film at the venue and launch advertising.
