FPF Academy: From Boosted Posts to Full-Funnel Growth

Website · Organic content · Trial campaigns · Event promotion

Project overview

The story at a glance

A website rebuild, twice-monthly content production and structured paid campaigns helped FPF Academy add nearly 5,000 Instagram followers and generate 100+ free trials.

FPF Academy coaches young footballers across West London and Buckinghamshire. It already had a strong word-of-mouth community, but its marketing relied on ad hoc posting and boosted posts. Front Row Social introduced a connected system covering website, location SEO, content production, lead journeys, reminders and paid campaign management.

Giving a respected academy a structured growth system

FPF Academy coaches young footballers across West London and Buckinghamshire. It already had a strong word-of-mouth community, but its marketing relied on ad hoc posting and boosted posts.

Front Row Social introduced a connected system covering website, location SEO, content production, lead journeys, reminders and paid campaign management.

The challenge

The previous website was outdated and the academy’s multiple locations were not presented clearly for search or navigation.

Advertising activity lacked dedicated landing pages, structured targeting and follow-up, making it difficult to understand what spend was producing.

Our approach

The website was rebuilt with clear location pages, map links and local schema. Front Row Social visits development centres twice each month to film content, then edits, plans and schedules the material.

A dedicated free-trial landing page supported video and static campaigns through the summer holidays. Reminder emails followed up interested families who had not yet booked.

The Instagram audience grew from roughly 7,500 to nearly 12,500 in about five months.

A £900 free-trial campaign generated more than 100 signups at approximately £9 each. A separate West London Talent ID campaign attracted almost 250 attendees. Conversion to paid academy memberships is still being confirmed, so forecast return is not included.

Two content visits every month

Regular filming at development centres keeps the social feed grounded in real coaching, players and academy culture.

Location-led website structure

Dedicated pages help parents understand where sessions run and give search engines clearer local relevance.

Trials and events with a measurable funnel

Dedicated campaigns now record signups and costs instead of relying on post engagement as the main success measure.

The takeaway

Marketing managed from first view to follow-up

FPF Academy moved from one-off boosting to a full campaign structure with content, landing pages, lead capture and reminders working together.
